Cedar

Above Ground Level Cedar Flight Chart

The Above Ground Level Cedar is an overstable distance driver designed for power throwers, wind control, and consistent finishing fade. With flight numbers of 11 | 5 | 0 | 3, the Cedar resists turn even under heavy torque and excels at hyzer drives, forehand shots, and long-distance lines that require reliability over pure glide. Built to replace the earlier AGL Cypress mold, the Cedar continues AGL’s tradition of producing durable drivers with dependable, wind-ready stability.

How the Cedar Flies for Different Players

Beginner Flight Path

Beginners will find the Cedar extremely overstable. Expect early fade, limited distance, and strong hyzer angles. It functions best as a utility disc for skip shots, hard-fading drives, or windy conditions rather than as a general-purpose driver for newer arms.

Flight Chart for Intermediate Throwers

Intermediate players with developing power will see a straight push before a firm, reliable fade. The Cedar is excellent for controlled hyzer lines, headwind drives, and forehand shots that require torque resistance. Not ideal for turnovers or straight-glide distance shots.

Advanced & Professional Flight Behavior

Experienced throwers can fully unlock the Cedar’s power capability. It holds up to high-speed releases with zero turn, providing a consistent, late-stage fade. Perfect for long hyzer bombs, flex lines in headwinds, and forehands where stability and accuracy are essential.

Forehand Flight Path

The Cedar’s 2.20 cm rim width and strong overstability make it extremely forehand-friendly. It resists torque, maintains line integrity, and finishes with predictable fade—even on high-power flicks. Excellent for both distance and controlled utility forehands.
