Doomsday Discs Frag Flight Chart
The Doomsday Discs Frag is a super-overstable utility midrange with official flight numbers 5 | 2 | 0 | 5. It’s built to fade hard and stop on a dime. Players use it to escape trouble—tight woods, sharp dog-legs, or when you need the disc to dump quickly instead of floating far. The Frag is not made for distance; its strength is predictability in the fade.

Flight Chart By Skill Level
Frag Flight Path for Beginners
Beginners will find the Frag extremely overstable. The flight path is dominated by a strong fade almost immediately after release. There’s virtually no high-speed turn unless the throw is very flat and nose-down. Expect the disc to push forward briefly, then hook hard left (RHBH), making it a reliable tool for short, controlled approaches.
Flight Path for Intermediate Players
Intermediates will see the Frag hold straight for a moment before its signature dump. On flat or slight anhyzer lines, you might squeeze a touch of forward glide before the fade kicks in. Hyzer releases exaggerate the hook, while nose-up throws result in an even earlier, stronger fade. Its flight path is short, sharp, and always predictable.
Frag Flight Path for Advanced Players
Advanced players will experience the Frag as a true utility midrange. It resists turning under almost any condition, then finishes with a violent left hook. The disc is ideal for spike hyzers, forced flex lines where you need the fade to bail out, and approaches that must stop quickly. Even with high power, it won’t flip—its flight chart shape is consistently short and dumping.
Flight Path for Forehand Throws
On forehand throws, the Frag shows even more of its overstability. Out of the hand it resists turning, then flares hard as it slows. This makes it excellent for short forehand approaches that need to finish with authority. Power forehands can still force it forward, but the fade will always win out in the end.

Puttheads Notes
The Frag is marketed—and trusted—as a very overstable midrange. With low glide and a sharp fade, it’s meant to fly short and finish hard. Some runs in softer base plastics improve grip and help the disc settle quickly on landing. Lower-power throwers may see the disc fade almost immediately, while advanced players can stretch it slightly farther before the dump. Regardless of arm speed, its defining trait is always the same: a dependable fade-heavy flight path.
- If I’m trapped in the woods and need a disc that won’t drift, the Frag is my go-to.
- Great for “throw & stop” approaches where glide is a liability.
- Forehands hit hard and finish harder—angle control is key.
- Not a distance disc, but one of the most predictable tools in the bag.
