Wave

MVP Wave Flight Chart

The MVP Wave is a versatile 11-speed distance driver that covers neutral-to-understable lines with confident finish. Manufacturer flight numbers are 11 | 5 | −2 | 2. In practice it hyzer-flips for easy distance, rides long turnovers, and still fades predictably. Common plastics include Neutron / Cosmic Neutron, Proton, Plasma, and Fission—with Fission’s lighter weights offering extra glide and a touch more high-speed turn.

Quick Overview & Flight Numbers

Think “longer Inertia.” The Wave responds to power: gentle arms get straight distance with fade; bigger arms can shape S-curves and late-drift turnovers. Plastic and weight let you fine-tune the flight path for wind and angle control.

Beginner-Friendly Distance

Newer throwers (or lower speeds) will see straight-to-fade flights from a light hyzer. Consider lighter Fission to unlock hyzer-flips and effortless carry while keeping a manageable finish.

Intermediates: Hyzer-Flips & S-Curves

From modest hyzer, the Wave stands up, glides on line, then finishes on time. Tailwinds and low ceilings are its sweet spot. It’s a reliable “point-and-shape” driver when you need distance without fighting overstability.

Advanced & Power Lines

Flat rips produce a subtle high-speed turn with a dependable forward fade. On anhyzer, expect long pan shots that hold and gently land. Pair a heavier Proton/Neutron for wind and a lighter Fission for max-glide turnover bombs.

Forehand Notes

For touch forehands, the Wave flips to flat and tracks before a clean finish. Add hyzer in headwinds or club up if you need less turn. Smooth mechanics reward you with long, straight FH lasers.

Puttheads Notes

Data-backed do-it-all 11-speed. Use heavier Neutron/Proton for neutral control and lighter Fission for easy hyzer-flips and turnover distance. Complements a Phase (beef) and an Orbital (roller/flippy) for a complete top-end trio.
