Discraft XS – Flight Chart

The Discraft XS is a control driver with flight numbers 8 | 5 | 0 | 3 (Discraft stability 1.5). It’s known for straight-to-stable drives, workable hyzer-flips as it seasons, and reliable late fade. If you want a manageable 8-speed that can shape lines without overpowering, the XS offers a predictable flight path with plenty of glide.

Beginner Distance, Real Control

Newer arms will see gentle hyzer flights that push straight and finish with a trustworthy fade. The glide helps add easy yards while the fade keeps shots from drifting too far right (RHBH). Great for stepping up from fairway mids.

Flight Chart Notes for Intermediates

At 300–370 ft power, the XS handles slight hyzer to flat, riding straight before a controlled finish. For turnovers, release flat with smooth acceleration—Elite X or seasoned runs will show more turn than Z/ESP.

Advanced Shot Crafting and Plastic Tuning

Experienced throwers can pick plastic for stability targets: Z/ESP tend to stay neutral-stable for laser lines in light wind; Elite X or beat-in runs hyzer-flip more readily for stand-up shots and sweeping turnovers.

Forehand Placement and Utility

With clean FH form, the XS works as a finesse forehand driver—think straight placement shots, standstill tunnel hits, and tailwind pushes. It isn’t a meathook; rely on touch rather than brute torque.
