DGA Blowfly II – Flight Chart
Overview
The DGA Blowfly II is an ultra-flexible putt & approach disc built for control and stick-to-the-ground landings. With flight numbers 2 | 3 | -1 | 1, it delivers a gentle, workable turn and minimal fade—ideal for touch approaches, layups on hillsides, and putts where you want fewer spit-outs. Its signature soft rubber blend bends without cracking and grips chains, turf, and baskets exceptionally well.
Flight Path for Newer Players
At beginner power, the Blowfly II tracks straight with light turn and a soft finish. The ultra-flexible plastic helps reduce ground play, keeping misses close and building confidence around the circle.
Touch Approaches and Circle Work
For controlled upshots, expect straight-to-neutral flights that settle quickly. The tacky, soft rim grabs on cage hits and hillside landings, making it a go-to for “no-rollaway” layups and floaty runs.
Forehand Flicks and Utility Shots
Short forehands and standstills are comfortable thanks to the pliable rim. It won’t fight torque like an OS approach disc, but for touch flicks under 150–200 ft, it rides flat with a gentle finish and minimal skip.
Flight Numbers in Context
2 | 3 | -1 | 1 means neutral-to-understable putter flights with moderate glide and very little fade. Powering up introduces mild high-speed turn; powered down, it stays straight and sits on landing.
