Relativity

MVP Relativity Flight Chart

The MVP Relativity is a high-speed understable distance driver with flight numbers 14.5 | 5.5 | -3 | 1.5. It’s built for long turnovers, hyzer-flip distance shots, and rollers, sitting on the understable end of MVP’s 24.5 mm driver class. Players who can generate solid arm speed will see a pronounced high-speed turn with a gentle, controlled fade, while developing arms can use the Relativity flight path to stretch out distance beyond more neutral fairway drivers.

Flight Chart by Skill Level

Relativity Flight Path for Newer Distance Throwers

For newer players moving up into high-speed drivers, the Relativity flight path won’t always match the full -3 turn on the flight numbers. At lower power, it tends to fly straighter with only a moderate drift right (RHBH) before a soft fade. Expect usable distance with some late movement rather than a dramatic turnover. It’s still not a beginner driver, but it can be a helpful first step into understable high-speed molds once fairway drivers are under control.

Flight Chart for Intermediate Arms

Intermediate throwers are right in the sweet spot of the Relativity flight chart. A flat release produces noticeable high-speed turn, drifting right for a long portion of the flight before the 1.5 fade brings it back gently. Released on a light hyzer, it will flip to flat, ride straight with heavy glide, and finish with a controlled, late fade. This makes it effective for tailwind max-distance drives, long S-curve shots, and shaping fairways where you want turn but don’t want the disc to burn into the ground.

Relativity Flight Numbers for Advanced Power

Advanced players and power throwers can fully unlock the Relativity’s listed flight numbers of 14.5 | 5.5 | -3 | 1.5. Thrown hard on a flat or slight anhyzer line, it produces long-turning distance shots that hold over without instantly rolling, then finish with just enough fade to land softly. Many experienced throwers will use it as a dedicated understable distance driver for long turnovers, sky anhyzers that pan for ages, and long-range rollers that stand up quickly and carry down the fairway.

Forehand Lines, Rollers, and Specialty Flight Path

On forehand, the MVP Relativity works best as a specialty disc. Sidearm players with clean form and good touch can use the understable flight path for controlled turnover forehands, touchy hyzer-flip flicks, and forehand rollers that don’t require maximum power. Strong forehand throwers should expect early turn if they overpower it on a flat release, so it’s most useful when you intentionally want drift and shaping rather than a pure overstable forehand driver.

Try the MVP Relativity

If you’re hunting for an understable high-speed driver that can handle hyzer flips, drifting turnovers, and long rollers, the Relativity is a strong candidate to test in different weights and plastics.

Puttheads Notes

From a data standpoint, the Relativity lives on the fast, glidey, understable end of MVP’s distance lineup. It pairs well with a more neutral or overstable high-speed driver to give you a complete distance toolkit: one mold for pure stability and one mold for shaping big drifting lines, tailwind bombs, and rollers.

  • Flight Numbers: 14.5 | 5.5 | -3 | 1.5
