The monthly box subscription market has continued to grow over the past few years. Simply put, you sign up to receive a regularly scheduled delivery of goods curated by a third party. Usually these subscriptions deliver to your door on a monthly basis. You can seriously find a monthly subscription for just about anything: crossfit, makeup, and of course disc golf. It’s like a getting a little present each month! We wanted to provide you with a full round-up of these boxes for disc golf, complete with our opinions on each.
Infinite Discs VIP Club
Price: $19.99
Schedule: Monthly
Link: https://infinitediscs.com/blog/vip/
Details:
The Infinite Discs VIP Club is a limited membership club (400 spots at time of writing). Each month, a newer disc arrives with completely custom and limited artwork. Occasionally the disc is a special run of plastic and often the package includes a bonus item like a towel, bag tag, patch, or coupon. You have no ability to select options like plastic, brand, or weight preferences.
Being part of the VIP Club also gives access to a special online store where other limited run discs with custom artwork are available.
Best For:
- Collectors (though the future value of these is obviously unknown)
- non-brand-specific disc golfers interested in trying new discs with crazy cool stamps
Puttheads’ Opinion:
Rodney has been a member of the VIP club since its beginning. At $20, the disc is a little expensive but the artwork and exclusivity of the club makes it fun. If you are really picky about what you throw, this isn’t for you. Also note that there is currently a waiting list to join.
DiscStore’s Discmember
Price: $24.99
Schedule: Monthly
Link: https://www.discmember.com/
Details:
Discmember, brought to you by DiscStore.com, aims to provide a new, recent, or pre release disc in the best plastics. Each shipment also comes with another disc golf item like a shirt, hat, or Friction Gloves. Occasionally these discs come with custom artwork or plastic types not yet available. You get to select a shirt size and a disc weight range preference.
Being part of the Discmember program also gives you a personalized coupon code for 10% off, good for your entire active membership period.
Best For:
- non-brand-specific disc golfers interested in trying new discs
- any disc golfer looking to get some great apparel
Puttheads’ Opinion:
Rodney has been a part of the Discmember subscription since its beginning. While the discs have been really cool and mostly pre-release, the apparel and accessories make it worth your monthly $25. This is the best overall value in a monthly box.
The Disc Golf Box Company
Price: $37.99 – $49.99
Schedule: Monthly, Quarterly, Bi-Monthly, One Time
Link: https://www.thediscgolfboxcompany.com/
Details:
We haven’t specifically subscribed to this box, so we’re only going on the information available at their website. You are able to choose specific brands, weight ranges, disc categories, and stability. Or you can just get a random box of goodies. Depending on the package you choose, you get 2 discs and 3 other disc golf items or you get 2 discs and 1-2 swag items. It seems that occasionally the discs will have a custom stamp but more often than not these are stock stamps.
Best For:
- disc golfers seeking a specific brand, stability, or disc type along with some other swag
Puttheads’ Opinion:
There’s a reason we haven’t subscribed to this box – it simply doesn’t carry enough value to garner our monthly attention. There isn’t anything special about the discs or swag. For the monthly cost, I’d prefer to choose my own items that I know I want. That said, a non-disc golfer may find value in letting someone else choose a present for someone.
Disc Golf Boxes
Price: $35.00 – $100
Schedule: Monthly

Details:
Yet another monthly subscription we haven’t been able to experience, so again we’re only going on the information available at their website. Just like The Disc Golf Box Company, you are able to choose specific brands, weight ranges, disc categories, and stability. You can also choose to be surprised. Depending on the package you choose, you get 2 discs and 2 other disc golf items or 4 discs and 2-3 swag items, or 6 discs and 3-4 swag items.
Best For:
- disc golfers seeking a specific brand, stability, or disc type along with some other swag
Puttheads’ Opinion:
We were made aware of this service by reader Daniel (thanks!). Again for the monthly cost I’d prefer to choose my own items that I know I want.
Conclusion
Monthly boxes aren’t for everyone. Some people really don’t care about exclusive stamps, pre-release discs, or custom apparel. We enjoyed the Chain Cutter’s Union for several months before that discontinued and we’ll continue to enjoy a monthly package from Infinite Discs and DiscStore.
If you are aware of any other monthly services like these, please let us know so we can add them to the round-up. Also, if you have experience with any of these subscriptions, please leave a comment and tell everyone your opinion.
