If you haven’t heard yet, the DG Puttheads will now be hosting the Zen Disc Golf Podcast, which will be renamed to “Just Throw”. We’re extremely happy Patrick trusts us with this creation and we are very excited for this opportunity. Our goal is to keep the focus on you the disc golfer. We’ll tackle topics like course management, strategy, mindfulness, and focus. We’ll also be reviewing discs and products and we’re hoping to solidify some sponsorship for giveaways going forward. So hopefully for you the listener the show will be more of the same great disc golf talk. We’ll have an occasional (or more) visit from Patrick, the Podfather himself. And who…

8 Things We Learned From Disc Golf Blogging
Today is the DG Putthead’s birthday. Rodney published our first article exactly one year ago and because of your support we continue to write. And you know what? We love it!! The interaction with you, our readers, is amazing and we’ve met a number of other wonderful disc golf bloggers and authors over the year. Beyond that though, we’ve learned a great deal about ourselves and disc golf. Here are a few of the top lessons we’ve learned. 1) Topics to AvoidWhile disc golfers are passionate about disc golf, they are generally non-confrontational and easy going. There exist, however, a handful of topics which we’ve learned to avoid…

Puttheads Early Summer Update
Dear Disc Golfers, You may have noticed that our content has been infrequent over the past few months. Our bad. Seriously, we love publishing content and love the interaction with all of you. Unfortunately, no matter how many t-shirts we own that claim so, life isn’t entirely disc golf for all of us. As we were examining our sparse content and discussing what to focus on next, we realized that you probably know very little about us. Maybe now would be a good time to provide an idea of what we’ve been up to lately besides providing you with your fix of disc golf content. No life stories, we promise.

Ace Race 2015 Disc Reveal
We here at Disc Golf Putt Heads are very excited to hear that the 2015 Discraft Ace Race disc is in fact a putter! Chris is guessing the putter will be an overstable model like a Gateway Wizard or the new DGA Steady. Rodney is guessing we’ll see Discraft’s answer to the Dynamic Discs Judge with a small amount of turn and an equal amount of fade. What is your guess? Let us know on Twitter or in the Comments section below. The full player pack is revealed on 7/20. I suggest finding a local event and reserving your spot now: http://discgolfacerace.com/
