    Above Ground Level Madrone Review

The Madrone is a low glide putter from Above Ground Level that loves power and long straight lines. It shares many similarities with the AGL Manzanita but like the tree it is named after, the Madrone is unique. The Madrone tree is native to the Pacific Northwest but the Madrone putter will be finding its way all around the US in disc golf bags. Please follow and like us:

    Innova Invader Review

Innova has introduced another low glide putter to its lineup, the Invader. The Invader specializes in approaches by balancing low glide with ease of release. This putter offers a comfortable grip and a confident run at the basket. I don’t feel like making a cheesy disc name pun, so here’s your review.  Invader Manufacturer Notes Here’s how Innova describes the Invader: The Invader is one of the best driving and approach putters available. Its flat-top profile features a rounded, small bead rim making it easy to grip-n-rip straight flights. Put torque onto the Invader, it can handle it—backhand and forehand. We’re launching Invader in durable and grippy Luster plastic. Innova…

Above Ground Level Discs Manzanita Review

The Manzanita is a low glide, overstable putter which oozes consistency. Approved in 2018, it was one of the first putters molded by Above Gound Level Discs and has developed a following of dedicated throwers. While naming a disc after a tree feels rather ironic, it does not seem to have any negative affect on the Manzanita’s flight. Please follow and like us:

    Arsenal Discs C4 Review

Arsenal Discs is a small disc golf manufacturer with a unique lineup. The C4 is the only putter in Arsenal’s lineup and is consistent with their goal of differentiation; the C4 is a unique putter. As we have said about other small and new manufacturers, we love seeing unique and special putters from small companies since there is alread a sea of clones out there from the big companies. Discraft Focus Review

Discraft released the Focus in 2009 as an Ace Race disc, a straight putter with moderate glide. The Focus has been a mainstay in many bags since and we’re review now because it has found its way into Chris’ bag as his go-to putter. This putter literally has putting instructions stamped on it! Innova Bullfrog Review

Innova recently released the Bullfrog, a controllable low-glide putter.  This putter has about as much glide as you’d expect if you were to throw an actual bullfrog and it also has every bit the amount of control you’d expect from a slow disc.  Given the great flight and great feel, this froggy might just end up in your bag. Prodigy PA3 Review

One of our readers (@TBartExpress on Twitter) recently suggested that we test Prodigy’s PA-3 putter.  We haven’t tested much Prodigy in the past so we picked up a PA-3 to review and we’ve been pleased.  Pleased to the point that we wonder why we haven’t heard more buzz about this reliable putter.
